Terms and Conditions
Effective date: July 27, 2026. These terms govern water security installation services provided by HomeClub Inc ("HomeClub", "we", "us"), a licensed California contractor (CSLB #1151618) located in Laguna Hills, California, and your use of homeclubinc.com. By scheduling an assessment or purchasing an installation you agree to these terms. Questions: info@homeclubinc.com or 800-215-2686.
Who performs the work
All installations are performed by HomeClub Inc as the licensed contractor of record. We are not a marketplace: when you book with HomeClub, HomeClub is responsible for the work described in your signed installation agreement.
The standard installation
The advertised standard installation includes: professional installation of the FlowSmart All-in-One smart water meter and automatic shutoff valve on an accessible, above-ground main water line up to 3/4 inch; a functional test of the automatic shutoff before we leave; guidance connecting the system to the app on your own account; cleanup of the work area; and an Installation Certificate issued at completion. Payment is collected at completion.
What a standard site looks like
Standard pricing assumes: the property owner or an authorized adult (18 or older) is present for the full appointment; an accessible, above-ground main water line with room to fit the valve; a shutoff that isolates a single residence; a powered location for the wireless hub; and working home internet for app alerts. If your site differs, installation may still be possible - see the next section.
Non-standard work and written quotes
Work beyond the standard installation is always quoted in writing before it begins, and no additional work proceeds without your approval. Examples include: main lines larger than 3/4 inch; buried, obstructed, or hard-to-access lines; rerouting or added pipe sections; repairs to pre-existing plumbing defects such as leaking shutoff valves or failing pressure regulators; corrections required by code; and new electrical outlets. Older supply materials, including galvanized lines, are assessed on site; where extra preparation is needed it is quoted in writing. Declining optional recommendations does not prevent your standard installation. Declining work that is necessary to install safely may mean we cannot complete the installation, in which case you owe nothing for the assessment.
Unforeseen conditions
If we discover a concealed condition during the work - for example, hidden damage or materials that cannot be seen before opening the line - we stop, explain what we found, and provide a written quote for any change. Work resumes only with your approval.
Scheduling and cancellation
Assessments and installations are scheduled as appointment windows. Please give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Your signed installation agreement contains any cancellation rights required by California law, including, where applicable, a three business day right to cancel.
Payment
All pricing is provided in writing before work begins. Payment for installation is due at completion, when your Installation Certificate is issued.
Warranties
The equipment we install carries its manufacturer warranty, which passes to you; we will help you register it. HomeClub separately warrants its installation workmanship for one year from the installation date. These warranties do not cover damage caused by pre-existing conditions we identified and you declined to correct, misuse, modification by others, or events outside anyone's control. Nothing in these terms limits warranty rights you have under California law.
What the system can and cannot do
No leak detection or automatic shutoff system detects or prevents every leak or all water damage. The system is self-monitored: alerts go to your own app account, and you are responsible for maintaining that account, the hub's power and internet connection, and the system's batteries between service visits. The valve's automatic shutoff operates at the device; app alerts depend on your internet service. The system is not a substitute for homeowners insurance, plumbing maintenance, or shutting off your water during extended absences.
Insurance carriers
The Installation Certificate documents your installation: the property, policyholder, system, line size, installation date, and the result of the shutoff test. Whether a certificate satisfies a particular insurance requirement is decided solely by your carrier and your agent. HomeClub is not an insurance agent or broker and makes no promises about policy decisions, renewals, or premiums.
Optional membership
The HomeClub membership is optional, billed monthly, and is never a condition of installation. You may cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Membership benefits are described on this site and in your membership confirmation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeClub's total liability for claims arising out of the services is limited to the amounts you paid for those services, and HomeClub is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some rights cannot be limited under California law, and nothing in these terms limits them.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless your signed agreement provides otherwise.
Contractors State License Board

Changes
We may update these terms; changes appear on this page with a new effective date. The terms in effect when you sign your installation agreement govern that installation.
